Our chair

$400.00

I made this chair for a kitchen table that I am building for our home. I wanted a fun and colorful mid-century design for the fabric and a strong and elegant design for the frame of the chair.

I was inspired by the tapered legs of shaker end tables, so I incorporated that design element into our chair. I made the frame from quarter sawn red oak so it will be super stable and have a beautiful pattern throughout.

I made the back rest that my friend Ben gave me from his farm. I angled the top of the backrest to match the trim above our doors in our craftsman style home.

let me know if you want a specific species of wood to be used.
