People ask about custom work and what does that mean. It means that you get a piece that is fitted to your needs. Would you like a chair a little taller, shorter or wider? That’s no problem. Do you have a species of wood in mind that isn’t commonly seen? None of these are issues with custom work, you can have as little or as much involvement in the process as needed and get something that fits your needs and is made specifically for you.
